Misleading propaganda against the appeal to Sri Akal Takhat Sahib about the 'Zafarnama' sung by Satinder Sartaj. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Without being read, some gentlemen have tried to give the wrong color out of jealousy. We request all Sikh Sangat to beware of the propaganda and misleading propaganda of such elements who are engaged in discouraging new singers and lyricists who are interested in singing Gurbani and Sikh literature. Promoting Sikhism and Gurbani should be our main purpose. As a Sikh, if Satinder Sartaj refrains from praising the so-called Nirankari Hardev Singh from the stage in front of the so-called Nirankari in the past, by calling the light of the incarnation's face unwritten, then Sartaj's response to Zafarnama Appreciate the initiative. At the same time, the cooperation of scholars and linguists should be sought to put an end to the controversy over other imperfections, including pronunciation, while singing Gurbani. Subject: Mistakes and errors in the pronunciation of 'Zafarnama' sung by singer Satinder Sartaj. Mr. Mann. Even in today's age of lax singing, it is commendable for some of the new generation of singers to be active in Gurbani singing, Gur Itihas, Vishwas and Sikh literature and to reach out to the people to get attention to it. Encouragement is needed. It is also considered a crime in Sikhism to mispronounce Gurbani and if any Singh has any kind of inaccuracies or omissions while reciting, then there is a system of apology for the mistake of 'letters' during Ardas. Mistakes are the same as errors and omissions. But if the same text and Gurbani singing is done for recording (Mandi or TRP) then the errors in it cannot be ruled out. Recently, the singing of 'Zafarnama' composed by Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj by Punjabi singer Satinder Sartaj has been the subject of discussion due to many inaccurate pronunciations and many other errors. Satinder Sartaj is a well known singer whose lyrics are believable. The Zafarnama, composed by Guru Sahib, is in Persian. It is the language of the Middle East and is spoken and understood in many parts of the world. In such a case, the omissions and omissions found in the Zafarnama sung by Sartaj (according to Persian academics and linguists) would raise doubts among those who understand the philosophical aspect and reputation of Guru Sahib in the Persian language. (There is also talk of him mispronouncing Gurbani while singing Aarti). The younger generation is influenced by singing and takes natural guidance. Therefore there should be no room for error while singing and recording Gurbani. Our intention is not to create controversy, if someone makes a comment on an impure utterance then the singer should not take that comment as doubt, jealousy or resentment but should adopt the method of dialogue for a fair sangat. Mispronunciation of Gurbani and other comments need to be accepted as a moral obligation. Apart from withdrawing the existing 'Zafarnama', Satinder Sartaj should be directed to re-record its correct pronunciation (with expert opinion) and other necessary corrections to uphold the Gurmat ideology. Similarly, there is a growing tendency for singers and poets to inscribe the 'Zafarnama' composed by Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj in their own names. Kavishar Mahil Singh sang a Punjabi poem under the title 'Zafarnama' instead of the original composition, which is worth noting. At the same time, the appeal to Jathedar Sahib is that, for some time now, there have been attacks on Sikh culture and ideology in the creative works of singers, filmmakers and literary critics. Controversy has arisen many times. To prevent such incidents, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee should set up a censor board to monitor Gurbani literature, singing and filming on the lines of the National Film Censor Board.
